WVMC is a baby-friendly hospital that strictly observes breastfeeding policy. It also supports newborn screening and sustains the DOH programs on Expanded Prevention Program (under five clinic, well babies, sick babies) and the Expanded Program of Immunization. The following number of Medical Specialists and Resident Physicians continue to serve the forty-bed (46) pediatrics ward, 24 beds for infectious cases, ten (10) beds in the Neonatal Intensive Care, and nine (9) beds allotted for paying pediatric patients:
